Layed Back Weeks

Layed Back Weeks

Layed Back Weeks by hayleighjm featuring black boots

This look is so great, its everything I love in an outfit and more, and hey! its not all black! Its the perfect combination when incorporating super laid back style with an edge. I always love wearing comfortable slouchy clothes and it is even better when you can make it look good too. An oversized plaid shirt is always something that I can not and will not say no to. Its so very versatile and can be worn in so many different ways. In this look I tried to create a street style look which would work for every day or a fashionable job interview or just being out for lunch and you don't want to go all out. A pair of black jeans and a plaid shirt is always a staple look so there is no surprise in the fact that this is always a stylish way to go, however I decided to pair these with a pair of heeled boots, and they are one of my favourite pairs from Alexander Wang and I just had to put them in because they are so gorgeous, the open back with the dainty strap detail and the point it is just such an effortlessly classy shoe and I am completely and utterly in love. However I looked around for a cheaper alternative and it seems that New Look and Zara both having some similarly inspired pairs making this look even easier to recreate.
The sunglasses are my babies, of course, I think I am just going to keep using them in looks until I receive mine and I can die happy. Besides, bold sunglasses with this look would be a great way to finish it off summer or winter. With regards to extra accessories I would pair this with a simple black shoulder bag or messenger bag and you can find so many at affordable prices from any high street store or online at places like asos.
This look is one that can be used any time of year in my opinion, at this time of year when it is starting to get to the stage where you can actually not feel the ends of your fingers and toes if not appropriately wrapped up I think this, perhaps with a simple cami top underneath would provide you with enough warmth for a chilly day. However for the more colder days, a thick cardigan or a black structured coat paired with a pair of leather gloves (both of which can be seen in my previous post.) So either way, this is a look anyone can recreate any time of year.
